Known for its vibrant golden colour, turmeric (curcuma longa and curcuma xanthorhiza) has a rich history of use in Indian and Chinese traditional medicine. The curcuminoids, responsible for its distinctive colour, are believed to contribute to its potent antioxidant properties. Turmeric surpasses vitamin E and C in terms of antioxidant levels.
PowerStance
This unique powdered coconut oil from Stance Equitec aids in the absorption of turmeric powder by the digestive system. It boasts high levels of Medium-Chain Triglycerides (MCTs), providing a readily available non-glucose energy source. Additionally, PowerStance contains Lauric Acid, which converts to monolaurin, supporting gut health. Lauric acid is also associated with antiviral, antibacterial, and immune-boosting properties.

Information on Curcumin
Curcumin is a polyphenol, derived from the rhizome of the herb Curcuma longa showing a wide range of biological and pharmacological activities. Equally important properties, such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-carcinogenic, are the active principles of turmeric (Curcumin). Various animal and human studies have proven that curcumin is extremely safe, even at very high dosages. The yellow-pigmented fraction of turmeric contains curcuminoids, which are chemically related to the main ingredient, curcumin. The major curcuminoids present in turmeric are demethoxycurcumin (curcumin II), bisdemethoxycrucmin (cucumin III) and cyclocurcumin. The major components of commercially available curcumin include curcumin I, curcumin II and curcumin III, with curcumin I being the major component.

Praise for Turmericle
One of our horses was having intermittent lameness at the start of the endurance year. We had a full lameness assessment done with our vet and our horse was turned out to rest a very inflamed coffin joint. I started him on Turmericle as well as the prescribed medication given by the vet and within a month he was already moving better. The prescribed medication was only given for one month but I kept the horse on Turmericle for continued joint support. After three months of rest and Turmericle daily in his feed, he was brought back into work. He was prepared for his first 80km endurance ride and 6 months after his lameness assessment, our vet said he would be ok to enter a ride if he was kept off slippery surfaces and avoided concussive surfaces. He completed his first 80km ride after injury and he didn’t once show any signs of discomfort. He vetted through with all A’s and 1’s, trotting out beautifully at the final vet check. Turmericle, I think is one of my favourite products. My horse had a viral illness a few years back and as a result his coat went yellow! I had tried numerous products from all over, even the ones that ‘guaranteed’ to turn coats black again. And you guessed it…… none of them did a thing! Except to my bank account! I even had blood test after blood test done. I tried everything to try and get his coat back to normal for over 12 months!! I was recommended to try Turmericle so I did. Within 6 weeks my little yellow horse had amazingly gone a dark brown, almost black colour! Feeding one scoop morning and night and a completely different coat colour. But…… it also stopped his itch!! My horse used to rub his mane and tail – not any more! I have been using Tumericle for my for Irish Sports Cob mare along with Vitastance for a couple of years. She is looking and feeling fabulous.
I also use Tumericle for my very old Saluki/Greyhound and it has made a massive difference to his mobility. I didn’t give it to him for a couple of weeks recently and when I put him back on it, the difference was quite astounding. It has made such a difference that I have been able to reduce the meds from the vet and am considering cutting these out completely.
